All Natural
"Writers Block/Hip Hop History 101/50 Years/MC Avenger"
Ch'rewd 4112001

One the leading 12's from Chicago's resurgent indie hip-hop scene. 4 cuts of creative and original beats and rhymes by Tone B. Nimble and Capital D that have heads buzzing worldwide.

  • Got damn.. this shit is fresh. Tone B. Nimble and Capital D deliver on every song on the record. The cut that will catch most people's attention on first listen is going to be "Hip Hop History 101" which features Cap D rhyming while the beat switches up continually and often has some crazy combinations of beats blended together... up to about 4 or 5 at once. Shit is definitely fly. "50 Years" is unreal too -- beat sounds nekkid live with a piano over it to make your ass shiver... listening to it made me think of coolin out in a club with a drink and a cigar... reminiscing on life. Really makes sense since the song is about 50 years from now and Capital D looking back on hip hop. Then, on the chorus, is there a stupid ass rhyme? Nah, my man is cutting shit up. This is what I'm talking about!!! Solid beats, good use of the DJ, good use of the MC.. I'm nutting. Also, you got the instrumentals for "Writer's Block" and "50 Years". Finally, for you comic book heads, you're going to want to check the last cut, "MC Avenger"... the beat is on some different type ish and once again you have another strong track. - Jay Bee, Hip Hop Vibes

  • 50 years - TND are back, tony and dave of hip hop is back fame, they come back with better production, and the same characteristic comfortableness with the mic. On the production tip, a nice piano sample and a drum track... mc avenger - We all have a pretty common history of comic books, those of us who listen to hip hop. the hook is from protect ya neck swinging through your town like your neighborhood spiderman. a short track, 2 verses, neat vocal samples, and a cool little scratch out tro. hip hop history 101- shabazz, common, mc lyte and company on one track. Sounds like studio warmup session. TND interact with the various instrumentals and vocals with other. nice - kari orr, house of phat beats

  • ...don't sleep on the All Natural EP from Chicago (Ch'rewd Records). All Natural has a fat combination of jazzed out and creative production with really dope lyrics...rhyme style and content are really what made me take a serious listen to this sucker. "50 Years" was my own favorite track...a from-the-future-looking-back perspective on hip hop which is mad clever. "MC Avenger" flips every DC and Marvel comic hero from the universe, or so it seems...I thought it was an inspired piece of lyricism. "Hip Hop History 101" is a collage of different beats and verbal snippets that the MC weaves together through his lyrical narrative. It's been getting some play on the Wake Up Show, and no question why: it's an homage to great hip hop. Don't miss out on this EP...seriously dope sh*t all over the place. - O-Dub, KALX

  • Go straight to "50 Years", do not pass go. A little counterpointed double bass riff, a bit of sinking cocktail piano and sighing voices plus the MCs of All Natural take us forward half a century for an elegiac look at the current state of hip hop. Perfect. - MUZIK
