Turntable veteran and Beat Junkies co-founder DJ Babu returned to the spotlight in 1997 by capturing two out of three major categories at the ITF World Championship in San Francisco, putting yet another exclamation point onto the career of one of the more prolific hip-hop DJ's around. That along with the recent release of the "Wild Stylus" full-length (with fellow crewmember DJ Rhettmatic) has renewed interest in his long-standing classic BBS (breaks, beats and scratches) mixtape which has been sustaining underground for a couple of years now. Words couldn't explain the reaction when this was first unleashed, and that hasn't changed much to date. Just some of the most creative hip-hop thrown against two turntables you're bound to hear in your short lifespan. Own it.
